Fees
Standard Fees
Private therapy fee is $140/session. After-hours sessions are $150.
Clients referred under other programs may not be charged a fee. See below.
Cash or credit/debit card accepted.
Private report writing is available on request.
Medicare
Fees for psychological services are now rebatable under Medicare, for a limited number of sessions.
Clients who are unemployed/low-income, pensioners and students will be bulk-billed. No gap fees apply.
If you are working and able to afford an up-front fee you will be asked to pay $140. With a Medicare rebate this is a gap of about $50. If you bring your bank account details to your appointment, the Medicare rebate can be paid into your account quickly.
To be eligible for a Medicare rebate (and bulk-billing), you must be referred under a Mental Health Care Plan. For more information, please contact HELP! Psychology or talk to your GP, psychiatrist, or Medicare Australia.
